This Payments Policy explains the payment methods accepted by FruJoy, how payments are processed, and related terms. By placing an order with us, you agree to this policy.
Accepted Payment Methods
FruJoy accepts the following payment methods:
- Mobile Money (MTN, Airtel)
- Bank Transfer
- Cash on Delivery (selected locations only)
- Other payment options as communicated at the time of order
Available payment methods may vary depending on order type, location, or promotions.
Payment Confirmation
- Orders are confirmed only after payment is received, except where Cash on Delivery is approved
- Customers will receive confirmation via phone, WhatsApp, or email once payment is verified
- FruJoy reserves the right to cancel unpaid or unconfirmed orders
Prices & Currency
- All prices are listed in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) unless otherwise stated
- Prices may change without prior notice
- Promotional prices apply only for the stated duration or stock availability
Payment Timing
- Payment must be made before order processing for online and direct orders
- Bulk, wholesale, or corporate orders may require partial or full advance payment
- Failure to make timely payment may result in order delays or cancellation
Cash on Delivery (Where Available)
Cash on Delivery:
- Is available in selected locations only
- Requires the customer to pay the full amount upon delivery
- May be withdrawn if previous delivery attempts were unsuccessful
FruJoy reserves the right to request prepayment for repeat or high-value orders.
Failed or Reversed Payments
- If a payment fails or is reversed, the order will not be processed
- Customers are responsible for ensuring payment details are correct
- FruJoy is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers
Refunds
Refunds, where applicable, are handled according to our Shipping & Returns Policy.
- Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider
- Refunds are processed using the original payment method where possible
Payment Security
FruJoy takes reasonable steps to protect payment information. However:
- We do not store sensitive payment details such as PINs or passwords
- Payments processed through third-party providers are subject to their security policies
Customers are encouraged to use secure devices and networks when making payments.
Disputes
If you believe there is an error with your payment:
- Contact us within 24 hours of payment
- Provide proof of payment and order details
We will investigate and resolve payment disputes as quickly as possible.
Fraud Prevention
FruJoy reserves the right to:
- Verify customer identity for certain orders
- Cancel or refuse orders suspected of fraudulent activity
